not that i've ever had a trippy any day, but it sounded good. here is a photoshopped pic i took of some Queen Anne's Lace (otherwise known as a freaking weed, but we like them)
and here it is in the unadulterated version:
and here is a shot of the top of one, so you can see what they look like to most normal people (that being the people who don't look at the underneath and have micro mania)
that's it folks. i might come up with something later tonight. my creative juices have been dried up by having to get up too early today. 8am phone call woke me up. i'm thinking about getting rid of all phones in the house. of course, then people might actually come over instead of just calling. nah, i'll keep the phone. at least i can screen ppl that way and pretend i'm not home. kindof hard to do that if they show up on my doorstep.
LOL... I don't answer my phone either. I talk on the phone all day at work. I'm so done with it by the time I get home.
ReplyDeletei have the caller id hooked up to my tv so we don't even have to get up. i look at him, he looks at me, i say i'm not getting it...he's your kid or your closer or whatever gets me out of it :)
ReplyDeleteLove the trippy photo! Very cool effect, might make for some fun wall art!
ReplyDeleteI have Queen Anne's Lace in one of my beds. When I get sick of it, I just chop it down. I'll have to try photographing it next time.... I guess I have a few months for that!
LOL, up here in the BFE we only have dial-up and call waiting. If you totally want to be alone, we just connect to the internet. If someone calls, then the phone just rings, and we don't have to hear, it. :) (I warned you, I really do live in teh bfe) o' and the "weeds" are pretty looking too, we have something similar to that, but snow covers the ground these days.
ReplyDeletebad momma - i think i just maxed out the hue and saturation when i was messing with it. pretty wild, pyschedelic look. and yes, i shouldn't even be looking at pics of flowers right now. it will just make winter seem longer.
ReplyDeletecourse, if i had SNOW like nLsM i'd want winter to last and last. i guess i will take my technology over snow & dial up though.
I never knew you had creative juices, cool.
ReplyDeleteI like that you took the pic from under the weed. I'm with you on the phone thing. I prefer email and messaging.
ReplyDeletewM - don't you feel that everybody that blogs (at least the good ones lol) have some type of creativity? i've been dying to try either water color or oil painting (no, i don't know how). and of course, there's the photography thing...i would lovvve for somebody to teach me how to use a grown up camera
ReplyDeleteheiney- dang i thought i had just given you a nickname until i saw it next to your pic on bloglog! oh, well...i'll be sure not to ask for your digits, if you don't ask for mine! :)
Beautiful, better from underneath.
ReplyDeletethanks micki :)
